The 2026 Quad Riders ATV Association of British Columbia (ATVBC) Poker Ride June 30 - July 5.

This is ATVBC's 25th Anniversary year and we have so much planned!


The ATVBC Poker Ride will be on 

Saturday, July 4, 2026. 


The event is hosted by the

Nicola Valley ATV Club

and the

Kamloops TrailBlazers ATV & SxS Club.

Please read through the following before proceeding to the Registration section at the end of the page.

Online pre-registration closes on June 15, 2026.

Hoodie and shirts sales will end on  June 10. 

Unsure if you can attend,  you can join us and register on-site at the event.


The event site is located adjacent to the Nicola Valley Fish and Game Range at 4243 Aberdeen Road, Lower Nicola, BC.  Head out of the town on the highway BC-97C. Travel approx. 15 km and turn left onto the BC-8 W highway. Travel approximately 8.5 km then turn right onto Aberdeen Road.  Travel 6 m up Aberdeen Road and the event site is on your left adjacent to the Nicola Valley Fish and Game Range.

Registration

Registration is $20.00 per participant.  Online Registration closes June 15.

Please note that t-shirts will be ordered according to pre-registration and we cannot guarantee there will be extra.  Please pre-order.  

** Wrist bands must be worn during the event **


Friday Dinner 6 pm

Your choice of Brisket and/or Half Chicken (thigh and leg), with vegetables, potatoes, salads, and dessert.   $25.00


Saturday Breakfast

Please support the Rotary Club and order Breakfast on Saturday morning (8:00-10:00 am) before the Poker Ride.

1 egg, 1 sausage, 1 pancake  $12.00

2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 pancakes $15.00


Food Trucks

There will be food trucks on site.

50% cotton / 50% polyester - all styles only available in black.  The logo shown will be on the back of the hoodies and shirt.

Rides

All riders to meet at 9:15 am each day for the pre-ride meeting.   There will be 4 rides per day. Sign-up sheets for the guided rides will be at the registration table.

Day 1 - Promontory Viewpoint

Day 2 - Gordon Lake

Day 3 - Tyner Lake

** Waivers must be signed by all riders - drivers and passengers.


Camping

Camping space is limited, pre-register to ensure there is a space for you. 

Camping is $20 per night, per unit for online registration.  Arrivals after online registration closes will be $25 per night per unit (if space is available). Online registration ends June 15, 2025.

**  No wood campfires 

**  Briquet and Propane BBQs allowed.

**  Propane fires are allowed 

**  Mandatory compliance with the fire safety requirements at that time of year for the Regional District of Thompson Nicola

**  Dry Camping 

**  No water or sewer

**  Sani station with potable water 20 minutes away in Merritt

**  Porta-potties and garbage on-site

** All pets much be kept on a leash, and owners are required to clean up after them.


ORV Training

The ATVBC Certified Trainers will be holding Operator Training at the event.  Dates and times are subject to change.  You will need to specify if you will be completing your training with an ATV or UTV.  

ATVBC Member Price - $150 + $7.50 (5% GST) = $157.50

Non-Member Price/ Commercial - $300 + $15.00 (5% GST)= $315.00

Poker Ride

All riders must sign the ATVBC Waiver.  

The Poker Ride will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2026 and is open to anyone buying one or more poker hands.  Cards will be sold the Friday evening and on Saturday morning prior to the ride for $25 per card.  Each card provides 12 chances to win.

First riders out at 9:00 am, last riders out by 11:00 am and all riders must be back by 3:00 pm.

Poker ride prizes will be:

** $1000 for 1st prize - $500 for 2nd prize - $250 for 3rd prize **

Mandatory Insurance 

Basic ICBC road crossing insurance (Attendees must have ICBC Basic insurance in order to cross 'highways' as defined under legislation and regulations.)  

Attendees must also have $200,000 third party liability insurance and a valid driver's license are mandatory requirements under BC law (see ICBC Bulletin MV1457).  This can be obtained through ICBC as the APV119 coverage or through other insurance companies like Acera

If asked, riders must confirm, upon registration, that they meet these requirements.  ATVBC thanks you for your cooperation.

Helmets

Helmets are required for participants.

Refunds

No refunds after June 15, 2026.  Refunds of less than $25 will not be processed.   All refunds will be less a $25 processing fee. Absolutely no refunds on hoodies and/or jerseys after June 1, 2026.

Payment - option to pay via Credit Card will be on the next screen.  Credit cards are processed via Stripe.
